Last Friday marked the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month and we're excited to kick-off our celebration. This week, we're sharing a video interview with Daniel Moreno, a Hispanic School Leader and some statistics about Hispanic support for charter schools.

CELEBRATE: Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to honor the cultural richness and ongoing impact of Hispanic and Latino Americans across the country and spotlight the Hispanic members of our charter school community.
The Hispanic community is a vital part of the charter school movement:
1 in 3 charter school students are Hispanic.
15% of charter school teachers are Hispanic.
83% of Hispanic parents want more charter school offerings in their area.
63% of Hispanic parents strongly agree that parents should be able to have a choice in where their children go to school.
To kick off the month, meet Hispanic school leader Daniel Moreno:
Daniel Moreno is the director of schools for STEM Preparatory Schools in California and a Hispanic educator. We sat down with him virtually to learn about his journey in education and how his schools are dedicated to delivering high-quality STEM education. Watch the recorded conversation!
